A site deeply cherished by the residents of Taybeh--who sometimes sacrifice sheep there, following a pagan custom thousands of years old--it bears witness to the long-standing Christian presence in the village. In July 2025, the site was targeted in an arson attack, which villagers attributed to extremist settlers.
