Légende : La maison Tutunji dans la vieille ville de Mossoul est une maison patricienne de la fin de l'epoque ottomane, decoree de bas reliefs en marbre. Le batiment a ete utilise comme fabrique d'explosifs par le groupe Etat Islamique et a subi d'importants dommages pendant la bataille de Mossoul. Elle fait actuellement l'objet d'un chantier de restauration. Sur la photo, Valery Freland, directeur executif de la fondation ALIPH qui finance les travaux, discute avec le responsablee des travaux menes par la SGAH (Iraqi State Board of Antiquities and Heritage) et l'universite de Mossoul. Le 11/05/2023 /// Tutunji House in the old city of Mosul is a patrician house from the end of the Ottoman period, decorated with marble bas-reliefs. The building was used as an explosives factory by the Islamic State group and suffered extensive damage during the battle for Mosul. It is currently undergoing restoration work.
