Légende : La mosquee Al-Masfi dans la vieille ville de Mossoul a ete vandalisee pendant l'occupation de la ville par le groupe Etat Islamique et fortement endommagee pendant la bataille de Mossoul. Elle fait actuellement l'objet d'importants travaux de restauration par une equipe de l'ONG Guilde Europeenne du Raid qui offre des emplois et de la formation a des habitants de la ville. Sur la photo, un trou dans le mur d'une salle sous le minaret de la mosquee a probablement servi de passage aux djihadistes du groupe Etat Islamique pendant la bataille de Mossoul. Le 10/05/2023 /// The Al-Masfi mosque in Mosul's Old City was vandalized during the city's occupation by the Islamic State group and heavily damaged during the Battle of Mosul. It is currently the subject of major restoration work by a team from the Guilde Europeenne du Raid NGO which offers jobs and training to residents of the town. In the photo, a hole in the wall of a room under the minaret of the mosque probably served as a passage for jihadists from the Islamic State group during the battle for Mosul.
