Caption : 29/09/2015 - District de Tuléar, MADAGASCAR - A environ 20km au Nord de Tuléar (côte Sud-Ouest de Madagascar), une équipe de l'ONG HONKO (littéralement "mangrove" en malgache) inspectent l'impact de l'ensablement de la mangrove par les dunes de sable autour. Cet ensablement est essentiellement causé par les vents du Sud qui sont chaque année plus puissant. A long terme cette ensablement asphyxie et présente un danger pour l'écosystème et la biodiversité de la mangrove. L'ONG plante du sisal sur les dunes de sable pour freiner leur avancée. 20 something kilometers in the North of Tulear (South-West coast of Madagascar), a team from the HONKO NGO (litteraly mangrove in malagasy) inspect the impact of the mangrove getting stuck in the sand dunes surrounding it. This engulfment in sand is essentially caused by the Southern winds, that are getting more and more powerful with every year passing.
