Légende : L'Eglise Notre Dame de l'Heure (Al-Saa'a) a subi d'importantes destructions pendant l'occupation de la ville par le groupe Etat Islamique (de 2014 a 2017), et pendant la bataille de Mossoul pour sa liberation par l'armee irakienne. Elle a depuis fait l'objet d'un tres important chantier de renovation mene par l'UNESCO, qui touche a sa fin. Sur la photo, le frere dominicain Olivier Poquillon est sur le toit de la Maison de Priere qui doit encore etre restauree et transformee en centre educatif et culturel. Le 10/05/2023 /// The Church of Our Lady of the Hour (Al-Saa'a) suffered significant destruction during the occupation of the city by the Islamic State group (from 2014 to 2017), and during the battle for Mosul for its liberation by the Iraqi army. It has since been the subject of a very important renovation project led by UNESCO, which is coming to an end. In the photo, the Dominican brother Olivier Poquillon is on the roof of the House of Prayer which still needs to be restored and transformed into an educational and cultural center.
