Vincent Wartner’s "Calais after the jungle" portfolio in La Croix

Since 2007, Vincent Wartner has been photographing migrants in Calais waiting for a clandestine crossing to Britain. This week, La Croix publishes a selection of his latest photos, taken after the “jungle” was dismantled. They show the increasingly precarious conditions of the migrants, who have no choice but to live in the town center.

Vincent Capman win the SCOOP 2009

Vincent Capman has won the Science News award for his Nuclear Galley Slaves report, produced with journalist Claire Lefebvre.

This unique investigation into the secret world of 20,000 workers who maintain France’s 58 nuclear reactors appeared in the May 2009 edition of Paris Match.

Rijasolo takes part in a Malagasy evening

On Thursday 3 December, from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., Celsa-Madagascar looks at the diversity of Malagasy culture through the eyes of artists and intellectuals linked to the country. Rijasolo is presenting his current work, Mivernia, at the event.

Miverina means to come back. These images speak of my return to the country of my roots, Madagascar, back over on the other side of the world. It was bound to happen one day, after 20 years of absence. I was bound to feel the desire to go back one day.”

Vincent Capman and Vincent Boisot selected for the Angers Scoop award

Vincent Capman has been selected for the Science News award for his report, Nuclear Galley Slaves, published in Paris Match in May 2009.

Vincent Boisot has been selected for the Arts and Culture award for his report, Kinshasa, an heroic symphony, published in Le Figaro Magazine in July 2009.

Riva Press joins the Zmâla adventure

Zmâla is a new independent magazine focusing on the production of photographers who work in collectives. The first edition covers 26 collectives from more than 15 countries.

Rijasolo’s striking series on the mining town of Ilakaka in Madagascar has been chosen for this first issue. Publication is planned for the Visa pour l'Image Festival in Perpignan.

Projection-Debate "Municipal Elections 2008" in Marseille

Rijasolo is presenting his work, Municipal Elections 2008, at a public debate on the role of press photographers during the municipal elections in Marseille. The Projection-Debate evening, organized by the Union des Photographes Créateurs (UPC) will take place in Marseille’s Archives Départementales.
